Diving

Lombok is a well known destination for enthusiast divers because of the abundance of aquatic diversity and tropical marine life. The Gili islands are famous for their large population of green sea turtles and a 20 minute boat ride away from Cascada, are the best dive spots in south Lombok in the bay of Belongas.

Hiking

In the north of Lombok, Mount Rinjani rise to 3726m and is one of the most famous trek in south east Asia. It can take several days to get to the crater but you’ll be rewarded by stunning landscapes along the way and at the top. Accessible from your back garden are also easy trails through beautiful coconut groves, rice fields and colourful traditional villages.

Surfing

South Lombok is home to uncrowded world-class breaks. Selong Belanak, on your doorstep, is a safe place for beginners to catch their first waves. The next beach to the east has a fairly unknown fast right and on the other side of the bay, Mawi, is a world-class hot spot that breaks all year round.
